Trouble in time

At school we did a piece of learning called a literary circle this is when you chose a book and discuss it in a small group. 

Trouble in time 

1. Why did you choose this book ? It was the only book left. 

2.  Summarise what you have read so far ? 

Ben really wanted to go to laser force with his friends. But his old git granddad was here so he wasn’t allowed to go. The next morning he went school and when he came back there was a note on the door saying Hi Ben I’m at a bovine meeting with Abby until 5 Dad home late tonight but poppa will mind you love Mum PS Don’t eat all the chocolate cake and no more texting at the table. That night when his granddad went to bed Ben went up to his room and his granddad was there lying on the sofa.

3. Has the book started off how you thought ? No not really because it looked more interning on the cover than in the book.

4. Describe the literary circle method of reading that we are using ? The literary circle method is to help describe whats happen in the story with a group. There are roles you also have to play to describe the book, there is a word master and that's when you note down any hard words and then find they definition. Summarise, Summarise is when they sum up the chapter so far. Director, Director is when they come up with some questions to discuss with the group. Passage picker, Passage picker is when they pick there favourite passage to discuss with the group. Illustrator, Illustrator is when there chose a vision and draw it. Connector, Connector is when you make connection in the book.

5. How have you found it ? Pretty exiting
