Last week the Kaupeka hub had to use a flip grid. Flip grid is when you make a video and other people can see it. This is my speech that I said on the flip grid

What Is Greatness

Greatness I think Greatness is in everyone but this one man caught my eye and if you are interested in basketball or in sport well I have got the person for you And that person name is Lebron James he has Three NBA Championships. Four Most Valuable Player Awards. Three Finals MVP Awards and finally two Olympic Gold Medals and if you think that's not amazing I don’t know what is. How does he achieve this ? Well firstly he does a lot of hard work like going to the gym or just simply shooting some hoops or just practising his ball skills. Lebron knows he can’t win a game by himself. Teams need great  leaders and he is one of those, he can inspire and motivate his team mates to play their best game. What every team Lebron plays for he always leads from the front scoring the highest number of points. The quilty's that Lebron has to make him great are his physical strength, dedication to his team and strong leadership. In the famous words of Lebron James Nothing is give everything is earned

Teacher Conference

On the second week of term 2 some year 7 to 8 students got to go out to a teacher's conference this was called voice and choice. That is when some students go to a teacher's conference and speak about what goes on your school but the students say what goes on not the teachers. So me and Trent had to come up with a speech to say to the other teachers that were there. We all got a topic to speak about and a buddy to come up with what we presented ( mine was Trent ). There was a number of topics and our topic was science. This term we get to come up with our own science project and we get to go with a buddy. Mine is Logan and our project is "how does the shape of a paper plane's wings affect its travel distance?" This is mine and Trent's speech. My Recount

Do you now what the wahine disaster is about ? Well that's what I am going to share with you now it has been my recount and I know term 1 is over but but I still have't showed what I did so sit back and read away PS: I hope you like it and had a great holiday. The Wahine Story “Robertson Gordon”!!! I repeat “Robertson Gordon”!!! ‘The seas are getting really rough out there’, said the harbour master, you should  either turn back or risk it and  push on to Wellington”.  It was the 10th of April 1968 and the ferry was travelling from Christchurch to Wellington their were two storms raging and they were going to meet.  One storm was coming  from the North and one from the South Island. Robertson Gordon ( Captain/me  ) said “thanks but we will risk it.” I knew I should had pulled the boat around but I chose not to. Getting to Wellington that was my plan and the ferry engine started and the people were so excited that's why I didn’t want to turn around...
