Hello,
Today I will be sharing with you my first main point for my speech and as you know if you have seen my Speech Topic blog I have put my introduction and now I have done my first main point. It is about Hitler and what he did that was so terrible.
Intro 
Picture this you get woken up by the sound of loud sirens, two men smash down the door and are carrying huge guns they tell you to get your pyjamas on and step into this massive chamber. Suddenly this weird white kind of fog comes in under the door and through the two small vents, its gas, you struggle to hold your breath, you wonder why is this happening to you? should it happen to you? What do you think ? What would you do ? Hi my name is Reuben and today I would like to share with you my thoughts about racism.

First point: 
Hitler, Hitler is a perfect example of racism. He came up with a crazy idea to breed a society that he believed was ‘superior’ and was of pure blood. He believed that the race had to have pale skin, blue eyes and blond hair. If you were impure then he labelled you evil and saw you as a threat. He wanted to do away with these impure people so he targeted Jews, Gypsies and black people. This type of racism is an extreme example I know and it did happen a long time ago. Luckily nothing like this has ever happen again.

Teacher Conference

On the second week of term 2 some year 7 to 8 students got to go out to a teacher's conference this was called voice and choice. That is when some students go to a teacher's conference and speak about what goes on your school but the students say what goes on not the teachers. So me and Trent had to come up with a speech to say to the other teachers that were there. We all got a topic to speak about and a buddy to come up with what we presented ( mine was Trent ). There was a number of topics and our topic was science. This term we get to come up with our own science project and we get to go with a buddy. Mine is Logan and our project is "how does the shape of a paper plane's wings affect its travel distance?" This is mine and Trent's speech. My Recount

Do you now what the wahine disaster is about ? Well that's what I am going to share with you now it has been my recount and I know term 1 is over but but I still have't showed what I did so sit back and read away PS: I hope you like it and had a great holiday. The Wahine Story “Robertson Gordon”!!! I repeat “Robertson Gordon”!!! ‘The seas are getting really rough out there’, said the harbour master, you should  either turn back or risk it and  push on to Wellington”.  It was the 10th of April 1968 and the ferry was travelling from Christchurch to Wellington their were two storms raging and they were going to meet.  One storm was coming  from the North and one from the South Island. Robertson Gordon ( Captain/me  ) said “thanks but we will risk it.” I knew I should had pulled the boat around but I chose not to.
