This week for my SUW ( which stands for Silent Uninterrupted Writing ) I rote Steel Bars if you don't get it , the first paragraph go to my other post and you will see it the first paragraph because it is one is my second paragraph. I hope you enjoy.

Steel Bars

James had a job as an engineer, builder and a superhero but no one knew that. James knows how bad his brother can be and he hates taking down his brother John but he has to or John is going to take over the world. But one day John goes too far killing someone that James knows so he has no choice but to take him down and make sure he does not get out of prison. So he set off to find John and now James is the only one who can stop him. It was a long trip travelling from the UK to Australia but James got there, he went to his mum and dad's house but he couldn’t find them. He started to get worried and concerned that perhaps John had got to them first.  He started to call them but they will not pick up the phone and after a while he said to himself I have to go and find John.
His next option was to go to John’s house and sure enough ‘where are mum and dad John said I don’t know, are they here ? As he said that a massive door opened and on it was their mum and dad. John said if you want them back will have to fight me or else mummy and daddy will die. James said alright I will fight you, let's go three, OK  one, two, three.
It was a long and bloody battle with both men having cuts and bruises but like every battle there has to be a winner and that winner was James but as he held him by his hand John escaped and ran away. James untied his mum and dad and they were free. James helped them to the hospital and they were going to have to stay there for 5 weeks. Once again James set off to find John and this time it was easy he was going to rob a jewellery store. Once he got there John was just coming out of the jewellery shop. James said stop right there those jewels are not yours. They are now said John We can do this the hard way or the easy way said James. John started to run James said alright we will do this the hard way. James smashed into John and John said why did you do that. James said thanks to you mum and dad are in hospital and now I am going to kill you. I’m so sorry I was just jalousies that you got all the good stuff please don't kill me I won’t steal anything in my life again and instead can I work for you. James said fine, but you can start by taking those jalousies back and saying sorry to mum and dad, and from now on they were now as JJ. THE END

Teacher Conference

On the second week of term 2 some year 7 to 8 students got to go out to a teacher's conference this was called voice and choice. That is when some students go to a teacher's conference and speak about what goes on your school but the students say what goes on not the teachers. So me and Trent had to come up with a speech to say to the other teachers that were there. We all got a topic to speak about and a buddy to come up with what we presented ( mine was Trent ). There was a number of topics and our topic was science. This term we get to come up with our own science project and we get to go with a buddy. Mine is Logan and our project is "how does the shape of a paper plane's wings affect its travel distance?" This is mine and Trent's speech. My Recount

Do you now what the wahine disaster is about ? Well that's what I am going to share with you now it has been my recount and I know term 1 is over but but I still have't showed what I did so sit back and read away PS: I hope you like it and had a great holiday. The Wahine Story “Robertson Gordon”!!! I repeat “Robertson Gordon”!!! ‘The seas are getting really rough out there’, said the harbour master, you should  either turn back or risk it and  push on to Wellington”.  It was the 10th of April 1968 and the ferry was travelling from Christchurch to Wellington their were two storms raging and they were going to meet.  One storm was coming  from the North and one from the South Island. Robertson Gordon ( Captain/me  ) said “thanks but we will risk it.” I knew I should had pulled the boat around but I chose not to.
