Some of the actives involved water and other sport equipment. Ar each active you earned points and at the end you would total them all up. Their were about 12 groups with and about 6 to 8 in each group. Overall I had I great time taking part in Top Team and would love to do it again. Have you ever done Top Team before?

Reflection on Sport

Hello, For the past couple weeks we have been doing sport rotations. We have been playing Cricket, Korfball, Lawn bowls and softball. My first rotation was Lawn bowls, someone from Lawn bowls Canterbury came in and taught us how to play we also did a lot of fun actives with her. For softball someone from our class dad came in and taught us how to hit the ball and catch. For Korfball there was a person from Korfball New Zealand and taught us how to play and all the different rules you have to follow. For Cricket we already knew how to play so we just played a big game. Overall I really enjoyed learning and playing these sports and hope we do more. Have you done any of these sports?

Free Choice Blog

Hello, This week we were allowed to write a free choice blog, so I chose to write about my link Ed comment on the Six C's and how we used them on camp. The Six C's are Collaboration, Creativity, Citizenship, Character, Communication and Critical Thinking. Here is my comment hope you like it. In term 4 week 3 the kaupeka hub went on camp to Wainui. During camp I think I showed creativity at search and rescue because we learnt how to fix a broken leg or an arm with a stick. It was pretty easy because all we had to do was find a stick that was thicker than your pinky and longer than your forearm. Then rap some bandages around you the stick and make sure the patient can’t move their arm. I also showed collaboration at search and rescue as well. Because we all worked together to find one person that was hiding with walkie talkies. My favorite part of camp was when we went Coasteering because we got to jump off rocks and look sea-lifes. Have you ever used one of these

Wainui Camp Reflection

Hello, This Term we went to on camp at Wainui for 3 nights and 4 days. We had to write a reflection which included what we found challenging, what was our favorite part at camp, something we learnt, something we were grateful for. Here is my reflection. Camp Highlights   What I found challenging ?  I found the high ropes really hard and not many people could get past the first stage. But lucky I made it, I also found this really fun. I was a bit scare when I was climbing because you had to trust the person on the ground because he was holding you up.  What did I learnt?  I learnt how to find someone then fix there broken leg and then build a stretcher for them it was really fun. I also learnt how to belay, feed the rope to the rope tier and be the rope tier in high ropes.  What was my favorite part? My favorite part was when we went coasteering because I loved jumping off the big rock that was about 5 meters high. I also loved kayaking because I love the water and
